EXCESS WEAR & USE PROTECTION PLAN

When it comes to the end of the lease, you will have to decide what type of vehicle you want to lease next, and whether to choose Autumn Shimmer or Nightfall Mica. Thanks to the Excess Wear & Use Protection Plan, you can focus on those things and not on how to pay for dents and damaged tires upon turning in your leased vehicle.

• At the end of your lease, you will be covered under the Excess Wear & Use Protection for each eligible event valued at $2,000 or less, plus each qualified missing part or equipment valued at $250 or less, and up to $7,500 in total excess wear and use charges.

• With the purchase of Excess Wear & Use Protection, you will be prepared for potential eligible damages at the end of your agreement, such as damaged tires, rims or hubcaps, broken or scratched windows, interior cuts, burns or stains, damaged bumpers as well as body dents and scratches. This policy will also cover missing parts or equipment. 

• With Excess Wear & Use Protection, there are no claims to submit, no deductibles to pay, and no reimbursements to request.

Please note that the Excess Wear & Use Protection is optional, cancelable (see terms of Agreement) and is not a requirement to obtain credit. Excess Wear & Use is only available at the dealership when you lease your new Lexus with Lexus Financial Services. Under certain circumstances, Lexus Financial Services does not charge its lease customers for excess wear and use damage. TIRE & WHEEL INSURANCE FROM LEXUS FINANCIAL SERVICES AND PROVIDED BY YOUR DEALER, LEXUS OF WOODLAND HILLS

Knowing you have the Lexus Tire & Wheel Protection provides you with the ability to drive with confidence. Be secure in the knowledge that your tires and wheels will be replaced in the event of damage from eligible hazards. Tire & Wheel Protection Platinum coverage enables you to keep your vehicle tires and wheels intact without blowing up your budget. The insurance is available for up to six years.  

Some of the benefits of the protection plan are as follows:

• Tire Coverage: Replacement of a tire in the event of damage due to a covered road hazard or debris on a public surface such as nails, glass, potholes, rocks, tree limbs or other objects. Replacement of damaged tires due to a covered road hazard or debris on a public roadway such as nails, glass, potholes, rocks, tree limbs or other objects not normally found in a roadway. 

• Wheel Coverage:  Replacement of a wheel, if it fails to hold a seal with the tire. 

• Towing Costs: Reimbursement of towing expenses up to $100 per occurrence in the event of a covered event.

• Additional Benefits: There is no aggregate dollar limit, mileage limitations, or limit to the number of covered claims. There are no deductibles. And there is a one time transfer of the policy to another owner in a private sale.

HOW DOES LEXUS LUXURY CARE WORK? What is Covered and what are your Options?

There are plan terms for new car purchases anytime before the vehicle reaches 6,000 miles, and in increments of two, three, four, and five years and from 20,000 to 90,000 miles. You can stay covered with service intervals occur every 5,000 miles or every 6 months, whichever happens first during the term of the plan

Under Lexus Luxury Care, Your Lexus will receive OEM-approved parts and service from our trained technicians who know the brand. You can even set up personalized maintenance reminders that are tailored to your driving habits. When it is time to visit Lexus of Woodland Hills, all you have to do is present the Lexus Luxury Care card.

A one-time transferability of this plan is available should you decide to sell your Lexus to a private party. There is also a $50 transfer fee. 

Having this plan protects you from unplanned costs for factory-recommended maintenance, and you don't need to keep track of the services.

Purchase of a Maintenance Plan is optional, cancelable (see the agreement terms) and not required to obtain credit. You can even cancel your plan within the first 30 days for a full refund if no benefits have been incurred/paid. If benefits have been paid or making a cancellation beyond 30 days, please ask your dealer or refer to your agreed-upon purchase.
