The 2026 Lexus IS arrives at Lexus of Woodland Hills with a refreshed face, an upgraded cabin, and a focused two-grade lineup. Lexus dropped the IS 300 and IS 500 for 2026 — the IS is now a single-engine sport sedan, available in F SPORT Design and F SPORT trims, with rear- or all-wheel drive. We have inventory in stock and ready for test drives.
Every 2026 IS uses the same 3.5-liter naturally aspirated V6 — 311 horsepower, 280 lb-ft of torque. Rear-drive models get an eight-speed Sport Direct Shift automatic; all-wheel-drive models use a six-speed automatic. No turbo, no hybrid, no electrification — just a high-revving V6, which puts the 2026 IS in rare company against the turbocharged inline-fours that dominate the segment.
EPA fuel economy is 19 city / 27 highway / 22 combined for the F SPORT Design RWD, and 19 / 26 / 22 for the F SPORT and all AWD configurations.

The front fascia is new, the 19-inch aluminum wheels are new, and Lexus added a Wind exterior color — a light gray with metallic flecks. Inside is where the upgrade really lands: a 12.3-inch Lexus Interface touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster replace the older displays. Forged Bamboo trim — real bamboo fibers with a layered shading effect — runs across the center console and start switch bezel. F SPORT models can be ordered with an exclusive Radiant Red interior. Wireless Qi Gen5 charging and four USB-C ports come standard.
If you’re going to spec an F SPORT RWD, the optional Handling Package is the box worth checking. It adds a Torsen limited-slip rear differential, Adaptive Variable Suspension, expanded Drive Mode Select (Sport S and Sport S+ get added), and performance-tuned steering. On an already engaging sedan, it sharpens the feel meaningfully.
Standard on every 2026 IS. Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Full-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Tracing Assist, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, Road Sign Assist, Proactive Driving Assist, and Automatic High Beams.
A 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, paired with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.
A 10-speaker Lexus Premium system is standard. A 17-speaker Mark Levinson system is available as a factory option.
For the 2026 launch, Lexus is building a one-time Special Appearance Package on the IS 350 F SPORT. North America gets 350 units total. The package adds Hakugin Matte White exterior paint, a White and Black interior, 19-inch Black BBS forged wheels, Triple-Beam LED headlamps, a moonroof, the Handling Package, Mark Levinson audio, the Technology Package, Intuitive Parking Assist, Panoramic View Monitor, and a Power Rear Sunshade. Allocations are tight — reach out early if you want one.
