Not every pre-owned Lexus qualifies for L/Certified status. To be eligible, a vehicle must be six model years old or newer with fewer than 80,000 miles on the odometer. From there, factory-trained Lexus technicians perform a comprehensive 161-point inspection covering the powertrain, exterior, interior, electronics, safety systems, undercarriage, and a full road test. Only vehicles that pass every checkpoint earn certification — and any components that don’t meet Lexus factory standards are repaired or replaced with genuine Lexus parts before the vehicle reaches our showroom.

L/Certified vehicles include up to six years of total warranty coverage when combined with the original four-year/50,000-mile new vehicle warranty. Covered systems include the engine, transmission, electrical components, steering mechanisms, suspension, brakes, heating, and air conditioning — with all repairs performed using genuine Lexus parts at authorized dealerships.
Unlike many competing luxury CPO programs that cap mileage or limit coverage to powertrain components only, the L/Certified warranty covers virtually all mechanical and electrical systems with no mileage restriction during the warranty period. Four factory-recommended maintenance visits are included within two years or 20,000 miles of purchase, covering routine services performed by Lexus-trained technicians using genuine parts.

A loaner vehicle is provided during covered warranty repairs so you are never without transportation while your Lexus is being serviced.
If a covered breakdown occurs more than 100 miles from an authorized Lexus dealer, reimbursement covers up to three nights of lodging at up to $200 per night and a rental vehicle for up to five days.
